Airlines – increase effectiveness, improve business and customer satisfaction

Services for Airlines

There are numerous cash outflows from an airline bundled with the use of live data. To name a few:

  • Communication service providers CSPs, where the VHF data transfer is charged per data flow, not the band as we are normally used to in daily use of the Internet
  • Aircraft monitoring platforms, charged per aircraft
  • Route planning, normally subscription based platforms
  • Weather services – often bought together with CSP services or similar
  • Fuel consumption monitoring, subscription based platforms
  • Engine and APU monitoring, subscription based or attached with the overhaul contracts
  • Crew Management software, subscription based

Companies buying direct aircraft from OEMs have some of these services directly at no cost, as long as they provide a way to get data from aircraft through usually communication service provider data. Just the data per one standard single isle aircraft costs are between 1000-2000 USD per month, including of technical and operational data flow. Newer aircraft with far more data have significantly higher costs. Added to other services, the data can easily go to the level of 15.000-20.000 USD per month for an aircraft.

  • Our platform allows not only significantly more data downstream, but also all health monitoring, operational reporting, weather info – and more!
  • Data transformed to knowledge in industry standard technical, operational and other reports an airline needs

What would be the ideal airline downstream system?

An easy answer would be a single system that articulates all functions of an airline. And a very wrong answer. Current fragmentation of different platforms is required due to:

  • Requirements of actual job functions,
  • Different civil aviation legislative demands,
  • Different company business models,
  • Legal and accounting requirements
  • Trainings etc.

Answering that there is one ideal system which fits all is not possible. Not a single system can match technical requirements and accounting, for example, when we add different legal systems of each country to the equation. With that in mind, Aviolog’s flexibility to provide parts of the needed information through APIs giving live info where it needs to be (within certain other legacy systems) and making our platform extremely versatile. It also is far more reliable, as the data we gather goes through consensus agreements, whereby each message is confirmed, stored and its hash is saved in a blockchain, making it a thrustless, untamperable system.

What do we offer?

  • Post flight reports (PFR)– have MCC react immediately based on real information from the aircraft
  • Current flight report (CFRs)
  • Engine, APU, load reports – be aware when to remove engines, prior to failure
  • Real time faults (subject to the route coverage) – prepare the maintenance
  • Real time warnings (subject to the route coverage)
  • Aircraft tracking – mandated by ICAO on each 10mins
  • Delays monitoring
  • OOOI messages – manage crew duty times
  • METAR data – prepare flights according to real current information
  • GRF Global Condition Reporting Data on Runway conditions / Actual Operational data (RWY in use, restrictions, etc.) thru ATIS
  • Airport data
  • Weather PIREPs (subject to the route coverage) – passenger comfort and flight levels/airpaths avoidance based on available weather PIREPs enroute
  • MRO Maintenance organization can use above listed parameters to assess the A/C condition

Application Programming Interface – APIs for different direct data input into current systems (AMOS, RAL, CESAR,  etc). With this option, each company can choose which data they want on which platform. It is certainly not an easy task to switch from one platform to another, and sometimes there is no need due to the depth of existing systems. Our system allows APIs for adding the missing puzzle to your existing platforms, as long as your current system providers allow APIs to their platforms.

Soon to come benefits

  • Fuel burn reports, ranging from Fuel Degradation Factor application to Fuel Uplift data
  • Congestion reports
  • Route deviations – planned data from the flight plan comparison against the actual flight obtained thru ACARS/ADS-B messages, along with deviation Alert function, as set up by the Users
  • Enjoy benefits of earning tokens that are tradable on crypto exchanges when getting a receiver and joining consensus agreements
  • Finance & Network Planning – with control and verification of various invoices, fuel uplift figures…
  • Flight Operations Analytics – saving initiatives and their effectiveness, block hour calculations, Cost Index / Speed feedback and fine tunning…
